A Field Agent Canada survey conducted on April 30 illustrates that some household cleaner brands and grocery retailers have gained the trust of Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Field Agent surveyed 603 Canadians and asked them which three brands were gaining their trust. Respondents were primarily women, about 70 per cent, aged 35-44 or 38 per cent who typically have the most purchase power over household products.

Lysol was cited as the top product that has most gained the survey participant’s trust since the start of the crisis in Canada.

Several retailers have also gained the trust of shoppers, according to the survey, including Costco, Walmart, Loblaws and Sobeys.

“Retailers fared very well and it looks like their hard efforts to keep the food supply chain safe and plentiful is gaining favour with the Canadian population,” says Jeff Doucette, general manager of Field Agent Canada.
