Choices Markets has launched its annual community fundraiser, Star of the Season in support of neighbourhood organizations across B.C.
Last year, the grocer donated $45,000.
“Each year, we collect donations from our customers around the holidays for our Star of the Season campaign,” says Ishkandar Ahmed, CEO of Choices Markets. “We work directly with local neighbourhood houses located near our stores so that we know your donations are going directly to the most vulnerable families in the community.
Cashiers at each the ten Choices Markets locations will sell the stars to raise funds for local neighbourhood houses dedicated to helping those less fortunate.
