Chong Bang has been appointed senior vice president of merchandising for the discount division of Loblaw Companies Limited. He succeeds Frank Gambioli, who has been named president of the discount business.
Most recently, Bang was senior vice president of merchandising and marketing for Shoppers Drug Mart and has been with the company for 12 years. Prior to his roles in Canada, he served in executive positions at Walgreens and Eckerd Drug.
