Injured at shooting scene where Toronto police officer was killed: Support for Graham Hall, sales rep, JohnVince Foods

Graham Hall of JohnVince Foods was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time on September 12th. A police officer was fatally shot inside a Tim Hortons at Argentia Road in Mississauga, Ont. Hall was wounded in the same shooting. He was sitting in his jeep in a parking lot when he was carjacked and shot in the stomach. He survived, but the bullet is lodged in his spine and faces a lengthy recovery.

“Across the street from Tim Hortons, My dad had been pulled from his Jeep, shot, and left to bleed out on the asphalt by the shooter. Thanks to a fast-acting civilian and two amazing first responders, My dad was rushed to hospital for a long surgery to repair extensive internal damage. My dad is now in critical care, with a bullet still lodged at his spine and my mom barely leaving his side,” says Mitchell Hall, Graham’s son who has set up a GoFundMe page set up for his father.

As he recovers from extensive surgery, Hall is facing months of full-time rehabilitation with hopes of overcoming nerve damage and regaining the ability to walk and to work again.

The GoFundMe has been set up for the many friends and colleagues who have reached out and asking “How can we help?”
