Costco Wholesale Corporation released its May sales figures reporting net sales of US $19.64 billion, an increase of 8.1 per cent from $18.16 billion last year.
Comparable sales for Canada excluding impacts from changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange were up 7.5 per cent during the four week reporting period. U.S. sales were up 5.7 per cent. International sales were up 10 per cent and ecommerce sales increased 15.4 per cent.
Net sales for the first 39 weeks were $186.07 billion, an increase of 6.9 percent from $174.07 billion last year.
