Costco Wholesale Corporation’s July 2020 sales surged with both Canada and U.S. comparable sales reaching double digit growth and ecommerce sales spiking sharply.
Sales in Canada reached close to 15 per cent, while U.S. climbed almost 16 per cent, and ecommerce sales grew 76 per cent.
Costco reported net sales of $13.04 billion for the retail month of July ending August 2, 2020, an increase of 14.1 per cent from $11.43 billion last year.
Costco is scheduled to report fiscal fourth-quarter results Sept. 24, with expected quarterly sales of $50.95 billion, according to FactSet.
