Canadian Pacific Railway and the union representing its workers have agreed to resolve remaining collective agreement provisions through binding arbitration.

Seamus O’Regan Jr., Minister of Labour, says that normal business operations will resume March 22 and continue during the arbitration period.

“At the end of the arbitration period, a new collective agreement will be established. This outcome is further evidence that when employers and unions work together, we get the best results for Canadians and for our economy.”
