Freson Bros. has successfully raised $149,275 in a recent fundraising campaign to support the Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade.
From Aug. 2 to Aug. 15, the campaign saw generous customers across Alberta contribute $99,275 at Freson Bros. stores. The company matched the total with an additional $50,000 donation, resulting in a substantial total to aid the Brigade.
The funds raised will go directly to the Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade, helping to cover essential costs such as equipment upgrades, volunteer training and other critical needs.
“We are deeply moved by the generosity of our customers and the strong sense of community that this campaign has inspired,” says Paul Lovsin, Freson Bros. Hinton Hill store manager. “We would like to thank all our communities for helping us support the Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade. Their bravery and commitment in serving and protecting their community during this wildfire season is truly inspiring, and we are honoured to be able to make this contribution.”
