Jim Picard and John Kapralos of Morgan Williams International have created Mazee LLC in NJ and acquired a 20-year-old U.S. brand called Glee Gum. Since its incorporation in 2001, Morgan-Williams International “has been committed to importing the most recognizable grocery brands into Canada,” according to the company’s website.
A spokesperson for Glee Gum says that the purchase provides “new resources and capabilities to continue driving value including, immediate route to market for the Canadian consumers looking for Glee, future innovation to enhance the category and a larger team.”
