GoodLeaf moves to BioPET packaging

GoodLeaf Farms has switched to more environmentally friendly clamshell packaging for its line of microgreens and baby greens, according to Greenhouse Canada.

All GoodLeaf products are now expected to be packaged and sold in more sustainable BioPET clamshells. BioPET packaging, supplied to GoodLeaf by British Columbia-based Good Natured Products, contains 33% post-consumer recycled plastic and 20 per cent plant-based material. The new GoodLeaf packaging is recyclable, and there are no harmful BPAs or phthalates.
