A Norwegian robotics company with a branch office in Montreal, Que. is developing an in-store grocery retail robotics solution.
Halodi Robotics is based in Moss, Norway, but operates branches in Montreal and California. The company, in conjunction with fellow Norwegian technology company Strongpoint, are developing an in-store grocery retail robotic system that will help staff with repetitive tasks and allow employees to focus on more time with customers.
“The grocery sector is another industry where we see huge opportunities for the use of robots to support employees,” says Bernt Bornich, chief executive officer of Halodi Robotics in a press release.
