The historic downtown centre of Abobortsford, B.C. has a notable absence of grocery stores in walking distance of a burgeoning community but that may soon change following a proposal by local businesspeople to add one this Fall, according to an online story.

Known as the Rail District Market, the three businesspeople – Josh Vanderheide, owner of Field House brewing, Jason Lepp of Lepp Farms and Farm Market and Josh McWilliams of the YVR Prep Commissary Kitchen, have submitted a proposal for the “Local Food Supply Co.” would secure local food from the Fraser Valley area farmers.
