Eric La Flèche

Since joining Metro Inc. in 1991, Eric La Flèche has held various management positions, becoming president and CEO in 2008. He was recognized as Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year for 2020 by the Financial Post, which notes that revenues increased under his guidance to over $16 billion annually. Under his guidance, the company has grown organically and by acquisition to include 950 food stores under several banners and about 650 drugstores. In 2013, he received the Golden Pencil award. He is a director and member of the Human Resources Committee of the Bank of Montréal and is involved in several not-for-profit organizations, including Centraide of Greater Montréal and the Montréal Neurological Institute.
