At the end of last month Metro officially opened its new 41,800 sq. ft. store in Winona, ON, just east of Hamilton. It’s the first major grocery store in the area and is part of major new development that is taking place in the community.

At the opening ceremony Metro presented $1000 grants to each of three area schools to support healthy eating through the Green Apple school program.
