The Ontario Produce Marketing Association held its 2023 Industry Connect and AGM on June 7 at the Rockway Vineyards in St. Catharines, Ont.
Retailers and produce suppliers attended the all-day event to learn about how the OPMA is supporting the growth of the industry through various initiatives, including announcing the launch of a new “Women’s Produce Network.” Numerator, which partners with OMPA, provided shopper insights consumer purchasing behaviour and how to grow the produce basket.
OPMA celebrated the 10th year anniversary of the “Produce Made Simple” consumer-oriented initiative, a program promoting the use of produce in recipes. To mark the anniversary, the OPMA has announced a rebranding of Produce Made Simple logo and web site redesign.
