Cashmere Collection fashion event supports breast cancer campaign


To kick off October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the 15th annual Cashmere Collection fashion show took place on Tuesday, September 25 in Toronto. Cashmere #18 featured one-of-a-kind designs by 15 top Canadian fashion designers, all created from Cashmere Bathroom Tissue. The designs were created with a “Crystal Ball” theme in tribute to the traditional 15-year anniversary gift, crystal. Kruger Products, the makers of Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, organize the annual event to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer, and to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.


Diamond jeweler Kimberfire also donated more than 60,000 crystals to decorate the event, which was attended by more than 200 Canadian fashion industry leaders, influencers, designers and media. This year’s collection was curated by Canada’s Mosha Lundstrom Halbert, the New York-based internationally recognized fashion director, editor, writer and stylist.


The Cashmere Collection is the annual kick-off for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and heralds the yearly return of limited-edition Cashmere. Twenty-five cents from the sale of every package go directly to breast cancer efforts at the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).
