Dream Pops wins CHFA Launch Pad competition

Dream Pops, a 100 per cent plant-based ice cream product, won the Canadian Health Food Association’s (CHFA) 2022 Launch Pad competition

The “Dragons’ Den” style competition, held in Toronto in partnership with Grocery Business Magazine, provides the winner with $15,000 in advertising and editorial coverage in the publication, two one-hour mentorship sessions with retail and CPG industry veterans, and a booth at CHFA NOW 2023.

The competition put eight selected brands head-to-head in front of industry veterans on the judging panel, which included Metro Inc.’s Charles Buhagiar, category manager for health and wellness and OTC, and Grocery Business’ editorial director Mary Scianna, for a chance to launch their products ahead of others.

Dream Pops are plant-based ice cream bites available in peanut butter and birthday cake flavours covered in chocolate.
