Farm Boy to open Burlington, ON. store

Continuing its Ontario expansion, Farm Boy has announced plans to open a 25,483 square foot location in Burlington, ON later this year.

In addition to fresh produce, the store will offer butcher quality meats, artisanal cheese and fresh dairy, a selection of locally made products and plant-based foods, and sweet and savoury foods made in the onsite kitchen.

The store will feature fresh meals with a hot bar, salad bar, and fast-casual restaurant with gourmet pizzas and freshly rolled sushi. A made-to-order grilling station will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner with daily features, which customers can take home or eat in a Wi-Fi-enabled seating area.
“After opening locations in Toronto, Oakville and Hamilton, we’ve received many requests from residents of Burlington asking us to bring Farm Boy to their city,” says Jeff York, Farm Boy co-CEO. “We’re thrilled to share the news today with the Burlington community and we’re excited for the opportunity to earn their lasting business.”

Farm Boy says the store will create 120 new jobs.
