Flow Hydration introduces augmented reality mirrors to grocery

Flow Hydration has announced plans to launch augmented reality mirrors at Loblaw stores in May. The company says this is the first entry of this technology into the grocery market.

The mirrors will be part of an in-store demonstration program. They were displayed at the recent Expo West Show in Anaheim, CA.

The memory mirrors, produced by Menomi, track a consumer’s face to add illustrations that coincide with Flow’s alkaline spring water or organic flavours to create an immersive experience that customers can share on social media.

“What inspired me first and foremost to incorporate the technology into our product experience was our five million customers,” says Nicholas Reichenbach, founder and CEO of Flow. “We hear all the time from them how amazing our super water makes people feel and wanted to bring that feeling to life in a fun way.”
