Google develops AI assistant to help with meal plans

Google is developing a wearable health and fitness assistant that will help monitor an individual’s nutrition and recommend foods.

According to online source Android Police, “Google Coach” will leverage data Google has about the user to deliver health and fitness data, recommend meals and fitness routines, track progress, and recommend alternatives. For health and nutrition specifically, Google Coach can recommend a meal based on your location and patterns and if you prefer to cook at home, it will generate a weekly meal plan and shopping list and send the list to your email. Google notes in the story that the AI assistant may even be able to use your calendar data to figure out how many meals it needs to plan.
