Kraft Heinz is partnering with Food Banks of Canada to hold what it says will be the country’s largest one-day food drive on October 16, World Food Day.

Canadians across the country can participate in the Kraft Heinz Pantry Day by purchasing Kraft products at the grocery store, like Kraft Peanut Butter, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Maxwell House Coffee. Kraft Heinz will match every purchase with a product donation to Food Banks Canada.

Kraft Heinz is committing $20 million of product to Food Banks of Canada over the next five years through its Pantry Day project, which launched in May of 2020 when the company donated more than 1 million meals to Food Banks of Canada.

The company has a long history of supporting local communities across the country through programs such as Kraft Hockeyville and Kraft Heinz Project Play.
