Loblaw opens PC Express pickup in Toronto subway stations

Loblaw is testing PC Express pickup services at three stations on Toronto’s subway system in a pilot program with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).

Customers can place online orders via web or mobile app and pick up their groceries at PC Express locations at the TTC’s Finch, High Park or Islington subway stations. Loblaw says that orders placed by 11:00 a.m. will be available for pick up between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for commuters.  Residents near the High Park station can also order by 9:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday for pick up between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. The groceries come from nearby Real Canadian Superstore locations, delivered by a temperature-controlled PC Express truck.

PC Express pickup is also offered at six GO Train commuter stations in the Greater Toronto Area, from Burlington to Whitby.
