Longo’s recognized with Foodland Ontario Award

The Longo’s location in Mount Pleasant – Brampton, ON has won Foodland Ontario’s Consumers’ Choice Contest for the best grocery store berry display.

The Consumers’ Choice Awards are part of the Foodland Ontario Retailer Award display contests. The awards recognize the best in Ontario produce displays.

The annual Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards are the Ontario produce industry’s premier competition for excellence in retail display and promotion in support of local Ontario foods. This year marks the first time that consumers have been given the opportunity to decide who created the best display.

“Congratulations to Longo’s #30 in Mount Pleasant – Brampton for showcasing Ontario’s produce in such a delicious and inviting way,” said Ernie Hardeman, Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. “By participating in the Foodland Ontario Retailer Award display contests, you are helping shoppers choose locally grown produce. When we choose to buy local, we are supporting our farmers, our environment and our economy.”
