Just one year after it launched its online grocery shopping program, Metro has expanded its offering further to all Greater Montreal Area customers, the largest rollout of its online service to date.
The GMA represents close to 1.7 million homes and nearly 4 million consumers. “We are pleased to now offer online grocery shopping to all consumers in the Greater Montreal area. The last months have allowed us to confirm the quality of our service, since 98% of existing users are satisfied with the freshness of the food delivered’’ says Marc Giroux, senior vice president, Metro.
Metro says the service will be serving 60 per cent of Quebec’s population by the end of the year.
