Naturally Homegrown Foods Ltd. (NHF) has attained SQF (Safe Quality Food) certification for its new facility based in Surrey B.C.

“Achieving this goal is critical to reinforcing our company values on strong controls on food standards to our retail partners,” said Kirk Homenick, President of NHF.  “We are very proud of our team’s commitment to implement this program and their ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.”

As per the Safe Quality Food Institute: “The Safe Quality Food (SQF) program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers worldwide. Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to the retail stores.”

NHF and its anchor brand Hardbite started in British Columbia by handcrafting all-natural chips without artificial flavours or preservatives.
