Nature’s Path joins anti-pipeline campaign


Organic breakfast food brand Nature’s Path has turned off its worldwide website and replaced it with a message that expresses the company’s opposition to the proposed pipeline expansion in Western Canada. Nature’s Path says its objective is to raise awareness of the need to invest in infrastructure to support a low-carbon economy, and “to urge government and welcome all to join them on the path forward to renewable energy.”

The company has invited those interested to view its message online. Visitors can download call-to-action artwork created by BC artists to share on social media, and sign a petition asking Ottawa to abandon investment in fossil fuels and instead support renewable energy to help stop human-caused global warming.

The campaign is following the hashtag #pipeup.
