Red River Co-op buys Husky Gas stations in Western Canada

The Husky Gas brand will disappear from Winnipeg and beyond as the retailer has been purchased by Federated Co-ops and re-sold to its Co-op partners such as Red River Co-op, as reported by Access Winnipeg.

Most of the Husky locations are in Alberta and B.C. but nine are in Manitoba, Kenora and Dryden. The re-branding will take place in the new year and Red River Co-op will grow to 49 gas locations and nine grocery stores and two stand-alone pharmacies.
