Shoppers Drug Mart announces home delivery in 8 Canadian cities

In partnership with Instacart, Shoppers Drug Mart has launched same-day home delivery in eight cities across Canada.

Shoppers customers in Moncton, NB, Halifax, NS, St John’s, NL, Winnipeg, MB, Saskatoon and Regina, SK, Calgary, AB and Vancouver, BC can now access same day delivery of groceries, over-the-counter medications and other products. Shoppers promises delivery in as little as one hour.

“Working with Instacart allows us to serve our customers wherever they need us, whether that’s in a store or delivered right to their door,” said Matt Carr, vice president, merchandising for Shoppers Drug Mart.

Shoppers Drug Mart customers can go online or open the Instacart app on their mobile device to select their city and store and place orders in their Instacart grocery cart. An Instacart personal shopper will pick, pack and deliver the order within the customer’s designated time frame—in as fast as one hour or up to five days in advance.

For orders of $35 or more, the delivery fee starts at $3.99. Instacart Express members get unlimited free delivery on orders over $35.

Home delivery through Instacart is now available in 361 Shoppers Drug Mart stores and 374 Loblaw banners stores across Canada.
