Vince’s Market has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte and CIBC. The grocery retailer is among 45 companies in Canada to receive this award in 2017.
Canada’s Best Managed Companies is the country’s leading business awards program recognizing excellence in private Canadian-owned companies with revenues over $15 million. Each year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies undergo a rigorous application process, but only the best are awarded this prestigious designation.
“It was quite an intense application, but with the amount of planning and effort our team has put into our stores over the last few years, we felt it was time to benchmark our organizational goals with the rest of the country,” said Giancarlo Trimarchi, partner, CFO and controller of the organization.
Trimarchi, along with Carmen Trimarchi, president and CEO, and Brian Johns, chief operating officer, have grown Vince’s Market from a small roadside fruit and vegetable stand to a small chain of community oriented grocery stores focused on offering a personal and fresh shopping experience.
Vince’s Market is scheduled to open its fourth location in Tottenham, Ont., this fall.
