Walmart and Penguin launch grocery pickup in downtown Toronto

Walmart Canada says that online grocery orders over $50 can now be picked up at the PenguinPickUp location in Toronto’s The Village neighbourhood.

As of this month, customers in The Village can order online at or through the Walmart mobile app and pick up their order at the PenguinPickUp location at Church and Wellesley – or another location if they prefer.

Mitchell Goldhar, owner of PenguinPickUp, says that there are now ten Toronto locations offering pickup for Walmart grocery orders. The locations also serve as hubs for Walmart’s direct-to-home Toronto grocery delivery orders, where customers living within select regions in Toronto – including The Village – can have their grocery orders delivered to their door by local delivery partners.
