Instacart Inc and DoorDash plan to launch their own credit cards.
Both companies have seen an increase in order volumes over the last few months as more people are staying home.
JPMorgan Chase & Co will issue Instacart’s card, and is a bidding partner with DoorDash, which received over 10 offers from large banks.
The Instacart credit card is expected to launch in 2022 and cardholders would likely earn 5 per cent cash back.
DoorDash is recruiting restaurants to offer different accelerated rewards and offers for cardholders.
