Food retailer Pusateri’s has launched “Passport by Pusateri’s,” a program that provides Toronto and the GTA with an opportunity “to taste global while eating local” by introducing a series of regional menus and culinary offerings from around the globe.
Passport celebrates culture on a global scale, commemorating several Independence and national days with bi-weekly regional menus and products inspired by Israel, Greece, France, the Philippines, Jamaica, South Korea, Mexico and more. Customers can also enjoy seasonal and globally inspired menus for celebrations and holidays ranging from a UK-inspired menu for St. Patrick’s Day to a Canada Day-inspired Lobster fest.
The program begins on February 21st with a menu from Israel, featuring new products like Medjool Dates and Belazu Rose Harissa paste, to menu items including Chermoula Roasted Halibut, Roasted Eggplant with Yogurt Sauce, and Cauliflower Steaks (a new rising trend in the west).
