La Dee Da Gourmet Sauches is supporting feeding school children during the COVID-19 crisis through its #PayItForward challege.
Mary Marino, co-owner and vice president, says the company wants to help support those need during this pandemic.
“As a small business we are feeling the wrath of Covid and are trying, like many small companies, to keep our heads above water. We thank all our retailers out there still supporting us and keeping our sauces on their shelves and we hope that the more exposure we can give our company online the better it will be for our retailers once this pandemic is over.”
The company has launched a campaign on its Shopify platform in which it plans to donate $5 for every order in gift cards to Food4Kids Halton from its 25 orders in March. In April, its goal is to get 35 orders and continue the donation for Food4Kids Hamilton.
