Peak of the Market announced the retirement of Larry McIntosh, after 27 years as president and chief executive officer.
“Larry’s commitment, dedication and extreme passion to the produce industry and to Peak of the Market will not be forgotten,” says Peter Loewen, chair of Peak of the Market. “We are grateful for his contributions and wish him nothing but the best in the future.”
“I am very proud of the entire Team at Peak of the Market. Together, over the years, we have grown the Company and have accomplished so many major milestones. The Team’s dedication to Growers, Customers, Suppliers and to each other says so much about the Company. Peak of the Market will continue to be a leader in the produce industry and has a solid foundation to have strong growth well into the future,” says McIntosh.
McIntosh will be with Peak of the Market until June, after which he will continue volunteer work at the Canadian Red Cross, a past chair of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association and working on the Canadian Food Policy advisory council.
