Arctic Zero is making its original lactose-free frozen desserts available internationally for the first time. The desserts are whey protein-based, lactose-free, low in fat, low in sugar and low in calories, with fat-free and gluten-free options. The product is a popular dessert option for those who seek the taste and satisfaction of ice cream but are focused on fitness and dietary goals or are on restricted diets. Starting this month, select supermarkets and independent grocers in Canada will sell Arctic Zero pints in seven flavours: Cake Batter, Cookie Shake, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla Maple creamy pints; and Cookie Dough Chip, Cherry Chocolate Chunk and Rocky Road Trip chunky pints.
Each creamy pint contains only 40 calories per serving with 12 grams of protein and eight grams of fibre. Chunky Pints contain 12 grams of protein, 8 grams of fibre and only 80 calories per serving.
Arctic Zero products are distributed by UNFI (Canada-wide), Horizon (western Canada) and Koyo (eastern Canada) to independent grocers and national and regional retailers.
