Petcurean, a Chilliwack, BC, pet food maker has launched 100 per cent recycled packaging for its popular NOW FRESH line of pet food.
The Tetra-Pak cartons are made from 69 per cent renewable materials and is also 100 per cent recyclable, BPA-free and more compact to ship than cans, lessening the impact on the environment.
The NOW FRESH stews and pates are cooked directly in the Tetra Pak cartons to help prevent cross contamination. Petcurean’s conscientious approach to packaging is also used in the development of its NOW FRESH pet food for dogs and cats, which is made from 100 per cent fresh wild salmon, turkey or pork in nutrient-rich turkey bone broth.
