Lisa MacNeil is the new president of Tree of Life, effective October 12, 2020. She succeeds Bill Ivany, who retired July 2020.
MacNeil has 32 years of progressive management experience in the food industry working at Canada Packers, Maple Leaf Food Service and Gordon Food Service. Most recently, she was president of Gordon Food Services before leaving the company to take on her new role as president at Tree of Life.
Following the retirement of Bill Ivany, Jamie Moody had stepped back into the business, assuming day to day responsibility and to lead the search for Ivany’s replacement. After an appropriate onboarding period for MacNeil, Moody will resume his role as vice chair of the Tree of Life Canada Advisory Board and as an advisor to Tree of Life and to parent company KeHe Distributors LLC.
