Loblaw has opened a new store Atlantic Superstore in Bedford, N.S.
This is the first new Superstore in Halifax since 2004.
“I’m delighted to finally show off our brand new Atlantic Superstore to the community and our resident food lovers,” says store manager Greg Bourque. “It is exciting to be open and to be able to serve this fast-growing area of the city. It is also so important to us that, as part of the community, we give back to it. We are proud to support our great partner Feed Nova Scotia today with a $5000 donation in celebration of our grand opening.”
The new store has in-store baked breads and cakes, a deli area including a cheese wall and seafood and butcher counters.
The store is 40,000 sq ft, including electronic pricing on the shelves which will save paper. The store will have fresh produce and grab-and-go meal kits.
