Maple Leaf Foods has appointed Deepak Bhandari as chief financial officer (CFO) for its pork business, effective September 2024.
Bhandari had a 13-year career at Maple Leaf and rejoins the group after most recently serving as senior vice president of strategy and corporate at High Liner Foods. Prior to this role, he served as interim chief financial officer at High Liner.
In July, Maple Leaf Foods announced a plan to unlock significant value by separating into two public companies. The name of the new pork business will be announced in the coming months.
