Meatless Farm, a United Kingdom based meat alternative manufacturer, announced the launch of its first plant protein facility in Calgary, Alta.
The company launched its first plant protein ingredients subsidiary, Lovingly Made Ingredients.
The facility is the first of its kind at 30,000 sq ft, and will provide textured plant protein for Meatless Farm products around the world.
“Meatless Farm started less than five years ago at my kitchen table, so it’s amazing to see us open a facility of this size and scale and is testament to the growth and importance of this sector,” says Morten Toft Bech, founder of Meatless Farm.
