Metro Inc. has released its 2017 Corporate Responsibility Report highlighting the achievements of the first year of Metro’s 2016–2020 Corporate Responsibility Plan, and including significant events that occurred in the grocery and pharmacy businesses, as well as the activities of partner Première Moisson.
- Release of Metro’s Responsible Procurement Framework;
- Release of Metro’s Supplier Code of Conduct;
- Higher waste recovery rate;
- Launch of the local purchasing program in Ontario;
- Expansion of the One More Bite program in Québec;
- Implementation of the Diversity Policy;
- Release of the new Employee Code of Conduct.
