A new No Frills location has opened in Chipman, New Brunswick.
The move is Loblaw’s latest. The company has continued to expand its discount banner, No Frills, across Canada, especially in the Atlantic region.
In June, Loblaw opened its 12th No Frills in the region. Loblaw operates more than 280 No Frills locations across the country. In 2023 alone, Loblaw opened 23 discount stores. Galen Weston, Loblaw’s chairman and chief executive officer, says the company would convert more than 30 stores to discount stores and open 40 new locations nationwide in 2024.
