Adonis has opened its renovated, relocated store in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Montréal. Housed in a much larger space and adjacent to a big parking lot, the new store offers greater product variety with more Mediterranean products and new tastes.
Measuring 45,892 square feet – 18,000 more than the old store – the new store represents an investment of $10 million and employs more than 170, about 20 more than the previous location.
New features include several varieties of Mediterranean pizzas cooked onsite as well as crêpes and fresh juices.
The store’s fruit and vegetables section has an expanded range of exotic and local products. There’s also a large nut-and-olive counter, a selection of fresh and marinated meat cuts, a seafood counter, fresh cheese and bread baked in-store. The store also has a counter for Middle Eastern and French cakes and pastries, as well as an organic products section.
The relocation doubled the size of the counter for hot food and grilled meats and also increased the size of the terrace. Customers can enjoy the food prepared on-site in a 50-seat food court.
Since the announcement of its partnership with Metro in October 2011, Adonis has added nine new stores in Quebec and Ontario.
