Amazon Dash Cart

Amazon is rolling out smart carts at a U.S. grocery store in California.

Dash Carts allow shoppers to skip checkout lines. Equipped with cameras that automatically track a shopper’s order, the system allows for a cashierless digital checkout. The Dash Carts are similar to the company’s Amazon Go convenience stores, launched in 2018 in the U.S. that first used the cashier-less technology.
