Buy-Low Foods has acquired Nature’s Fare Markets, according to Grocery Business sources.
Rick Monahan opened the first Nature’s Fare Market in Kelowna, BC, in 1993. By 2018, Nature’s Fare had grown to nine locations and Monahan operated the business with co-owners and daughters Alexa Monahan and Claire Volpatti.
Grocery Business has learned from industry sources that while Nature’s Fare will be part of Buy-Low Foods, a division of the Jimmy Pattison Group, it will continue to operate as Nature’s Fare and management will not change.
