BrandSpark International has released its 2019 listing of the most trusted consumer brands in Canada.
The consumer-voted survey – the largest of its kind in Canada – identified what brands Canadians trust the most in 109 consumer product categories, including 33 that are new for 2019.
“Research shows that two in three shoppers say they focus more on quality than quantity when choosing products,” says Robert Levy, president of BrandSpark. “Marketers need to remind shoppers of the trust and value represented by their brand, especially since seven in 10 shoppers will try a new product if it is from a brand they trust, yet just one in two shoppers say they are loyal to name brands. Only four in 10 regularly choose ‘premium’ brands that cost more.”
The list is based on a BrandSpark survey of 17,000 Canadian consumers in English and French Canada and charts brands that “deliver a superior experience to consumers in an age of endless options.”
