BrandSpark International has announced its 16th annual Best New Product Awards (BNPA) winners.
More than 18,000 Canadians voted on the latest new beauty, health, personal care, food, beverage and household products in 66 different categories.
At the same time BrandSpark also released new research on Canadians’ shopping habits for everyday consumer products.
This year’s research revealed “shifting consumer preferences for health-conscious, environmentally-friendly and natural products.” While 67 per cent of respondents said they look for products that will make their lives easier, even more – 79 per cent – said they also want products that are environmentally friendly. And 37 per cent are prepared to pay more to get them, the survey found, a sizeable increase from 32 per cent in last year’s survey.
