The National Grocers Association (NGA) and Clarion Events announced a new joint venture at the NGA Show, with Clarion Events taking an equity stake in the Show.
“Over the past five years, the NGA Show has seen record breaking growth,” says Peter Larkin, president and CEO of NGA. “With Clarion Event’s investment in the NGA Show. we have the opportunity to increase that value proposition, particularly on the EXPO floor, while continuing to maintain the special experience that we have created for NGA members and attendees.”
Larkin sees the equity partnership as way to “turbo-charge our ability to grow the show in the future,” adding that the NGA Show team will continue to be involved in educational programming and popular events that have come to define the annual event. The show moves from Las Vegas to San Diego in 2019.
