Costco Wholesale has launched Costco Grocery, the company’s first online grocery site in Canada. Hosted on Costco.ca, the service offers grocery delivery to residents and businesses across Southern Ontario.
“We are very excited about the launch of Costco Grocery,” said Andrée Brien, Costco Canada’s senior vice president and senior general merchandise manager.“This new shopping option brings employment opportunities and makes a wider selection of quality goods available to members and businesses in Southern Ontario.”
With all online orders for the new Costco Grocery site processed through the recently opened Costco Business Centre at 50 Thermos Road in Toronto, the new service features hundreds of grocery items including health and beauty aid products along with vitamins and supplements. All orders come with a two-day delivery guarantee with no delivery surcharge for orders over $75.
Currently serving the Southern Ontario region, Costco Grocery plans to expand the delivery zone across the rest of Ontario and into Quebec, although timelines haven’t yet been set.
