Couche-Tard and Circle K employees and customers have raised $70,000 to help victims of the severe flooding that took place last spring in parts of Québec.
Employees were asked to donate It took just 16 days, from May 3 to 19, for $70,000 to be raised by Couche-Tard and Circle K employees and customers, who were asked to donate online and in-store. Individuals who gave by clicking a link or adding it to their bill had their donations matched by the company, doubling the campaign's results.
"Couche-Tard maintains its involvement with the community, and the response we had was unbelievable,” said Sophie Provencher, VP of operations, Québec West at Couche-Tard. “These funds were raised in no time at all. We're proud of this engagement and hope that community members know they can count on our efforts and people-focused approach."
Couche-Tard also supported those among its own employees who were directly affected by the flooding.
